Malaika Arora Khan, known as Malaika Arora before her marriage, is an Indian actress, dancer, model, VJ, and television presenter.[2] She is one of India's top item girls. She is most famous for her dancing in the songs "Chaiyya Chaiyya" (1998) and "Munni Badnaam Hui" (2010). She turned film producer in 2008, with her husband, Arbaaz Khan. Their company Arbaaz Khan Productions released its first film, Dabangg, in 2010.[3]
Arora Khan was born in Mumbai to a Punjabi father, Anil Arora, and a Malayali Catholic mother, Joyce Polycarp. Her father worked in the Merchant Navy. She completed her secondary education at Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur (Mumbai). Her aunt Grace Polycarp was the principal of the school. She is also an alumnus of the Holy Cross High School Thane where she had studied until ninth grade. She lived in Borla Society, opposite Basant Talkies before starting her modeling career.
Arora Khan is married to Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan whom she met during a coffee ad shoot. Together they have a son, Arhaan. Her sister is actress Amrita Arora, and her brothers-in-law are Bollywood actor Salman Khan and actor-director-producer Sohail Khan. Her father-in-law is the famous scriptwriter Salim Khan.
Arora Khan was selected as one of the MTV VJs when MTV India started its operations in India. She rose to an interviewer for MTV India, becoming the most prominent non-movie, non-model female in urban India. MTV India, recognizing her potential, gave her plum roles co-anchoring with Cyrus Broacha the popular program 'Love Line' and 'Style Check', at award ceremonies and concerts on the television channel. Arora Khan then entered the modeling world. Her modeling career was equally successful. She appeared in many advertisements as well as cameos for song and item numbers in Bollywood films such as Chaiyya Chaiyya in the film Dil Se. In 2005, she did another item number, Kaal Dhamaal in the film, Kaal. She also did an item number in Mahesh Babu's Telugu film. In 2007, she did a title song in Heyy Babyy directed by Sajid Khan and another popular song for Om Shanti Om whose director is the sister of Sajid, Farah Khan. In 2008, she did an item number in the film, Welcome with Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. Vaani Kapoor (born August 23, 1988) is an Indian actress and model.[3][4][5]

Kapoor debuted on television in the series called Rajuben. She later signed a three movie deal with Yash Raj Films. Kapoor was picked through an audition to play the second lead in the Shuddh Desi Romance for which she received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. [6] It was released on 6 September 2013 to positive reviews.[7][8] Her next release was the romantic comedy Aaha Kalyanam, a remake of Band Baaja Baraat. She signed a deal to endorse Lux range of bodywash Products.[9]

Vaani Kapoor was born in Delhi, India. Her father is a furniture exports entrepreneur and her mother is a teacher-turned marketing executive. She has an elder sister who is married and settled in Netherlands.
She did her schooling from Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Ashok Vihar in North Delhi. Later, she enrolled in IGNOU, completing a bachelor’s degree in tourism studies, after which she took up an internship with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur.
She later worked for ITC Hotel, before she was signed up by Elite Model Management

Lakshmi Rai is an Indian film actress appearing in South Indian films. Since her debut in the Tamil film, Karka Kasadara (2005), Rai has appeared in many successful Tamil productions, most popular being Muni 2: Kanchana and Mankatha (both 2011). Rai's most notable works in Malayalam-language films have been in Annan Thambi (2008), 2 Harihar Nagar (2009), Chattambinadu (2009), Evidam Swargamanu (2009), Oru Marubhoomikkadha (2011) and Mayamohini (2012), thus establishing herself as a successful actress in the industry. She also enjoys popularity in Kannada and Telugu films, after appearing in Kalpana and Adhinayakudu (both 2012).
Lakshmi Rai was born in Bangalore, Karnataka,[1] and brought up at Belgaum. Her mother tongue is Tulu. She initially worked as a model before entering the film industry. She appeared in television ads such as Sylcon Footwears, Josco Jewellers, Saravana Stores, Emmanuel Silks, Bru Coffee and Lucky Silks - Thanjavur.

She made her acting debut in 2005 in the Tamil film Karka Kasadara. Subsequently she appeared in a number of Tamil films, including the comedy film Kundakka Mandakka (2005) opposite R. Parthiban, Perarasu's action-masala flick Dharmapuri (2006), and the romance film Nenjai Thodu (2007). In 2008, she began working in more serious films such as the drama film Velli Thirai, in which she played herself, and the action thriller Dhaam Dhoom directed by Jeeva. She received positive feedbacks forher portrayal of a lawyer in the latter. A review from Behindwoods wrote: "The latter (Lakshmi Rai) sizzles even as she is supposed to play the court professional who is caught in the web of smuggling drugs".[2] She won her first Filmfare Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category.

She made her debut in Malayalam in 2007, starring in Rock & Roll opposite Mohanlal. She was noticed by the film field although film was a commercial failure. She followed it up with several successful films such as Annan Thambi, 2 Harihar Nagar (2009),[3] Evidam Swargamanu (2009) opposite Mohanlal, and Chattambinadu (2009) opposite Mammootty. She appeared in three Tamil films in 2009, Muthirai, Vaamanan and Naan Avanillai 2. In Vaamanan, she played a glamourous supermodel.[4] In 2010, she was seen in three films. She made special appearances during song sequences in two of them, In Ghost House Inn and Pen Singam and portrayed a cowgirl in the Tamil western adventure film Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam.[4]

Rashami Desai (born Divya Desai; 4 August 1986) is an Indian television actress. She is best known for playing the role of Tapasya Thakur (Tappu) in the popular television soap opera, Uttaran on Colors. She has also acted in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri and Bhojpuri movies.
Rashami was born in Nagaon to a Gujarati family. She did her schooling from Ulubari High School. Rashami is also a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer.
Rashmi Desai who started her career at an early age, got her first break in Ravan on Zee TV followed by Meet Mila De Rabba on Sony TV and started acting in the show Uttaran on Colors on 20 June 2009. Later, in March 2012 she opted out of the show Uttaran as she didn't believe she could portray an older role after the leap.[1] On 7 November 2012, she has returned to Uttaran in positive shades.[2]

She has worked in other serials including Pari Hoon Main. She has also done episodes for Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai. She has featured in reality shows such as Comedy Circus, Maha Sangram, Zara Nachke Dikha, Crime Patrol, Big Money, Kitchen Champion Season 2, "Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala" and Jhalak Dikhhla ja. Sweety Shetty (born on 7 November 1981), known by her stagename Anushka Shetty, is an Indian film actress, who works mainly in the Telugu and Tamil film industries.

Born in Mangalore, Anushka started her career as a Yoga instructor. It was while teaching Yoga, she got an offer to act in films. She thus made her acting debut through the 2005 Telugu film Super. She went on to star in a number of Telugu films such as Vikramarkudu (2006), Arundhati (2009) and Vedam (2010). After starring in a series of high-budget productions, she established herself as one of the leading actresses in in Telugu cinema.[2] She received critical acclaim for her portrayal of the titular character in Arundhati (2009),[3]
Anushka made her acting debut in Puri Jagannath's 2005 Telugu film Super, where she featured alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna and Ayesha Takia. The film received mixed reviews, but IndiaGlitz said "The two girls, Ayesha and Anushka, are cool and chic. Their angles and curves provide all the glamour and keep you engrossed. What about their acting? Well, they are in this film for it."[8] and Sify stated, "The sexy girls Ayesha and Anushka show off their bodies."[9] The same year, she acted in another film Maha Nandi, opposite Srihari and Sumanth which also received mixed reviews. IndiaGlitz said, "Anushka looks comely ---and that is what she seems to be in for." but added, "The script has been stitched and the seams look frayed."[10] Sify stated that it "starts promisingly with a racy first half but goes awry and the tempo slackens post interval." and added, "Anushka looks ravishing thanks to Vasu’s camera which is a major plus for the film."[11]

In 2006, she had four releases, the first being S. S. Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu, where she was paired with Ravi Teja. The film went on to become very successful and got her much recognition, making her very popular in Andhra Pradesh.[12][13] Kishore of Nowrunning.com said "The high points of the movie are the flawless acting of Raviteja and the lusciousness of Anushka. Raviteja has got all the ingredients that an actor should have and Anushka has all the assets to that a woman ought to have."[14] and Sify said that Anushka "is definitely a highlight."[15
In 2009, Anushka first starred in the blockbuster hit, the fantasy film Arundhati. In this heroine-centric film, she essayed two roles for the first time.[2] It was a critical as well as commercial success. Critics heaped praise on Anushka for her performance. Idlebrain's Jeevi wrote that she was "simply amazing in two roles" and that she did "exceptionally well with subtle yet impact creating performance",[19] while Rediff claimed that she was "brilliant and breathtaking in parts", labelling Arundhati as "totally Anushka's film".[20] Sify noted that she was "at her best with great performance".[21] She went on to win the Nandi Special Jury Award[22] and the Filmfare Best Actress Award.[23] Her next film was Billa, a remake of the 2007 Tamil film of the same name. The film received mixed reviews, with Rediff stating "Anushka has a super-toned body and indulges in quite a bit of skin show" but had "nothing much to do",[24] while Sify stated "Anushka was there to show her oomph and glamour which she has done full justice".[25] Her final release in 2009 was her second Tamil feature film, the action masala film Vettaikkaran with actor Vijay and it received generally unfavourable reviews. Rediff said, "Anushka, fresh from her success with Arundhathi, has been relegated to pretty bimbette again and appears conveniently during the romantic numbers of which Oru Chinna Thamarai takes the cake."[26] and Sify said, "Anushka has nothing much to do and hence goes unnoticed."[27]
She reprised the role she played in Vedam in its Tamil remake, Vaanam (2011), which was also critically acclaimed. Malathi Rangarajan of The Hindu said, "Boldness and daring mark Anushka's role — the actor's eyes effectively convey joy, helplessness, agony and anger."[31] A critic from Sify wrote that "Anushka is outstanding as the commercial sex worker as she is able to bring out a life-like performance."[32] She next starred in A. L. Vijay's Deiva Thirumagal. The drama centers on the characters of Krishna (Vikram), an intellectually disabled father and his daughter Nila. In 2012, Anushka recollabored with in A. L. Vijay and Vikram in the action drama Thaandavam. Malathi Rangarajan stated that "the romance between Vikram and Anushka is a beautiful feature of Thaandavam."[35] She later appeared alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna in the fantasy film Dhamarukam, which was her first Telugu release after two years. Karthik Pasupulate from The Times of India said that Anushka "has little to do as far as performance goes and does a good job of upping the glam quotient".[36] Radhika Rajamani of Rediff claimed, "Anushka looks sweet. Nag and Anushka have good onscreen chemistry".[37] Oneindia claimed, "Anushka Shetty has less scope for acting, but she impresses you in song sequences. [38]
